Zoe Jingyi Li

is a director, writer and designer born in Beijing, China. She is now studying at Beijing No.1 High School International Department (Grade 12). Aptitude and passion for sports, drama, music, art, and film.

Honors:

President’s Scholarship, 3rd Prize - China Brain Bee National Championship (national neuroscience competition), Natl. Excellence & World Qualif, Public Service Announcement HOSA-Future Health Professionals, Most Expressive Actor Award, 1st Prize for ‘When the Glass Became the Sky’, 1st Prize in the 20th ‘Chinese Language World’ Cup Student Writing Contest.

She has a rich background in drama creation and acting. She founded and directed Hamilton’s first campus production at 101ID, introducing musical theatre where none existed before in Oct. 2024. Led 30+ students through 3 months of rehearsal, created a 15-page original playbill, sparking 101ID’s first musical culture 50+ streamed Broadway, journeys.

She actively participated in a series of academic activities—Iowa Young Writers’ Studio (IYWS), Pioneer Research Institute: Researcher & Subsequent Independent Fieldwork and so on.

She also participated in a series of Communities & Volunteer activities such as Drama Therapy Lab & Positive Psychology Curriculum, VOGUE Forces of Fashion 2025 China Forum.
